Key Responsibilities
- Implement domain services, REST endpoints, validation and persistence
- Follow module boundaries, ports/adapters, DTO and transaction standards
- Apply RBAC, tenant context and record-ownership checks to every relevant path
- Create Flyway migrations, indexes and safe data-change procedures
- Write unit, integration, API and negative security tests
- Integrate notifications, object storage and approved external providers
- Instrument health, metrics and structured logs; investigate production issues
- Participate in refinement, reviews, demos and continuous improvement
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Java, Spring Boot, Maven and object-oriented design
- REST, JSON, validation, exception handling and API testing
- Spring Data/JPA, SQL, PostgreSQL and transaction fundamentals
- JUnit, Mockito and integration testing
- Git, code review and CI/CD working practices
- Secure coding and practical debugging

What to expect if you join
The role works in a cross-functional, documentation-first and architecture-led product environment. Candidates must be comfortable with hands-on ownership, transparent decisions, code/design review, automated quality controls and production accountability. The six-month MVP excludes unnecessary microservices, Kubernetes, speculative AI and other scope not approved through product governance.
